Up, Up and Away!

This spellbinding assembly introduces children to the principles of air pressure. Children get to see all kinds of everyday objects take flight, get to watch a hovercraft in action, and celebrate with us as colorful streamers explode.

Fire and Ice

This spectacular show thrills audiences with impressive science experiments. The event includes foggy dry ice storms and showers of carbon dioxide filled bubbles. Flames in a bottle and seemingly magic paper (its chemistry) that does not leave any ash amaze kids of all ages and sizes!

Space Exploration

Join Mad Science as we explore how all the STEM fields worked together to put people in Outer Space. Defy gravity, experience cold, calculate a rocket launch, and see how a Rover works! The science will leave curious minds wondering where Earthlings are going from here!

Spin, Pop, Boom

The audience is amazed when the Mad Scientist defies gravity in this energetic and spectacular special event. Fire, chemical reactions, and physics marvels! (This show has seriously left Middle School kids saying WOW!) An explosion of foam ends this event and leaves the audience wanting more!

Be Tobacco Free!

Especially popular for Red Ribbon Week! In fun and exciting demos, we explain how the body reacts to the chemicals in tobacco. We end each assembly with the help of a "volunteer" who stands in an empty kiddie pool and gets "tobacco slime" dumped on them. (The kids love for this to be the principal!)

Library themed Shows

Every year, the libraries have a Summer reading program theme. Like the libraries, Mad Science believes that learning does not and should not stop just because you're not in school. Ask your local library to host Mad Science!
